Exciting developments are taking place at É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ’s new School of Engineering Complex. Particularly noteworthy is the nanotechnology research being conducted to develop new procedures that can possibly cure cancer without using chemotherapy.

To further ensure that É«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ will lead the engineering field for generations to come, its new School of Engineering Complex features state-of-the-art facilities devoted to Computer Engineering, Electronic Technology, Bio-Engineering and Information Technology.
The complex’s four buildings feature research laboratories, such as a clean room for manufacturing innovative devices, a super-resolution and imaging laboratory, a laboratory for nanophotonic and optoelectronic devices, a semiconductor laboratory, a robotics laboratory, and a speech processing laboratory – the only one of its kind in Israel.
Among the many world renowned engineering professors on its faculty is Ze’ev Zalevsky, winner of the International Commission for Optics Prize for 2008 for his major contributions in the field of optical super resolution.
With the urgent demand for skilled engineers in Israel continuing to grow, the university intends to meet this need by doubling the number of students currently enrolled in our School of Engineering over the next five years.
